Jenna Brown - Director of Training and Development

Coach Brown is currently the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at the University of Charleston. She is entering her third season at UC and has amassed a record of 51-38 overall. 
Prior to her career at UC, Coach Brown has coached mostly club volleyball at all levels in Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, and West Virginia. She coached for one of Illinois's top club programs, Fusion Volleyball Club. She coached at one of Ohio's top programs, Elite Volleyball Training Center, in Columbus. In 2013, she helped lead Elite's 17-American team to a USAV National Bid as her team won the Big South National Qualifier 17 American Division. Coach Brown assisted the Savannah College of Art and Design, SCAD, Women's Volleyball team while attending Grad School. 
Collegiately, Coach Brown played for four years at the University of Charleston as a setter and rightside hitter. She graduated in 2009 with degrees in Interior Design and Fines arts. She also coached at Charleston Volleyball Club while in college at UC. During her four years of college play, the team went to two NCAA National Tournaments and won three WVIAC Conference titles. In High School, Coach Brown played for top Illinois volleyball clubs, Sky High and Fusion. 
Coach Brown prides herself in her ability to train and produce disciplined volleyball players at all age levels. She is enthusiastically looking forward to being the Director of Training and Development at AVA. She hopes to bring West Virginia club volleyball to a prominent standing nationally. 



Paul Bradshaw
 - Head Coach & Board Member

Coach Bradshaw been coaching young ladies sports since 1998, first as a little league softball coach and then transitioning to volleyball in 2006. In that time he has served as the JV coach at Riverside High 2006-09 and head coach at East Bank Middle School 2010. Coach Bradshaw returned to Riverside High in 2011 as Volleyball Operations Director. In 2013 Coach Bradshaw served as the Interim Head Coach at WVU Tech and in 2014 coached the Sissonville Lady Indians to a berth in the WV State Volleyball Championships with a 46-6 record. Coach Bradshaw has coached at the Charleston Volleyball Club, now AVA, for 5 years at various age levels. The majority of his playing experience was on the beaches of the world as he served in the US Navy. 
Coach Bradshaw's passion is teaching the game of volleyball and the techniques it takes to become a better all around volleyball player. His goal is to improve the athletes skills and their understanding of the game and to assist them in preparing for their next season.

Haley Moore
 - Head Coach & Board Member

Coach Moore. formerly Coach Pauley, has been coaching travel ball for five years now at CVC, now AVA. She has worked with all age groups in the off season by hosting camps and private lessons. Coach Moore has played volleyball since the age of 11. She played collegiately at WVU Tech on a full scholarship. Coach Moore continues to play  today and grows in the game she loves. For Coach Moore, coaching has helped her not only develop as a player, but a person. She has truly enjoyed watching the girls she's coached grow in the game. It is the most rewarding thing for her.







Rachel Ludwig
 - Head Coach

Rachel comes to Appalachian Volleyball Academy with four years of club coaching experience in Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia.  Last season she was the head coach of 18-Red for Charleston Volleyball Club.  Rachel has played beach volleyball and indoor volleyball for over 16 years.  In college, she played for the University of Maryland Women’s Club Volleyball Team.  When Rachel is not working as an attorney in Charleston or coaching, she enjoys playing indoor and outdoor volleyball at the competitive level.
